The Shymkent K Project is an international-level office building design proposal located in the new administrative center of Shymkent, the capital of southern Kazakhstan. Optimized for a 2.5-hectare site, the project offers office space for approximately 1,000 people through a modern architectural layout, taking advantage of open views toward the new city hall and mosque. This proposal is in the preliminary concept design stage, aiming to finalize an efficient space program and design guidelines. The project comprises one basement level and 14 above-ground floors, totaling approximately 20,822㎡ of gross floor area. The ground floor accommodates a reception area, a 300-seat conference hall, a 100-seat dining facility, pharmacy, retail spaces, and banking services. Floors 2 through 12 provide office accommodation for approximately 1,000 occupants, calculated at 12㎡ per person. The 13th and 14th floors house executive offices, exhibition spaces, and banquet facilities. The design maintains a core-to-floor area ratio below 20% to optimize office efficiency, while above-ground parking placement minimizes construction costs.

To enhance energy efficiency, the project proposes eco-friendly technologies such as triple-glazed windows, a double-skin facade, and a BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaic) system. The triple-glazed windows reduce energy loss by 10–15%, while the double-skin facade blocks summer heat and retains warmth in winter. Additionally, the BIPV system integrates solar panels into the building envelope to generate electricity, and rooftop gardens and green facades help create a pleasant environment.
