The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus is developing the design for an embassy complex located at 12 R. Koschkarbaeva Avenue, Astana, Kazakhstan. The project will be built on a 0.86-hectare site and will include an administrative building, ambassador’s residence, residential building for staff (10 units), vehicle storage facilities, sports and children's playgrounds, and spaces for official events. The complex consists of three main buildings: 1. Administrative Building: A three-story structure (approximately 2,000㎡) built with reinforced concrete frame and ceramic brick exterior, finished with travertine and limestone. 2. Ambassador’s Residence: A two-story building (approximately 350㎡) including a living room, kitchen, dining room, reception hall, office space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. 3. Residential Building: A four-story building (including basement, approximately 1,480㎡) containing 10 apartment units, parking, a training room, sauna, laundry room, and medical room. All buildings feature energy-efficient aluminum windows, high-quality interior finishes, and earthquake-resistant design.
The site layout emphasizes functional zoning for efficient space usage. The administrative zone, residential zone, and ambassador's residence zone are clearly separated, each with its own entrance and vehicle access. Perimeter security includes a fence at least 2.5 meters high, CCTV surveillance, and access control systems. The landscaping plan incorporates green areas with lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees, maintained by an automatic irrigation system. Additionally, the site includes a plaza for official events, a children’s playground, a multipurpose sports court, parking for 5 vehicles, a car wash area, a lightweight postal handling facility, and a document incinerator.
