With the opening of the Seoul–Yangyang Highway, it now offers excellent accessibility—just 2 hours and 30 minutes from Seoul—making it an attractive location. Here, discover a second home where every unit is guaranteed an ocean view. To meet the client's request and ensure strong sales appeal, the design ensures that every unit offers a clear view of Naksan Beach’s vast sea. Rather than being designed for permanent residence, this space is optimized for second-home buyers seeking a short summer getaway and a place to relax. From the eastern edge of the site, it's only a 200-meter walk to Yangyang Naksan Beach. Between the beach and the development site lies a commercial zone, including retail and accommodation facilities, adding convenience.
Proximity to the commercial area increases access to amenities, which is a strength. However, crowds and noise during peak season pose challenges. To overcome this, the project focuses on creating a high-quality building environment where residents can comfortably stay, naturally converting the seasonal foot traffic into commercial value. Since 2018, various uses—mixed-use residential, apartment complexes, officetels, and serviced residences—have been considered to shape the design direction. The key concept blends residential independence with the vibrant energy of a beachside resort, reflecting both the commercial zone and beach characteristics.
