At the client’s request to “maintain the same concept as Phase 1 but further enhance the central plaza", this complex aimed to recreate a vast park-like space at its core, reminiscent of New York’s Central Park. To maximize the plaza, the design strategy focused on opening up the center of the site. However, to avoid a monotonous layout, the plan carefully balanced landscaping and architecture to create a rich and engaging experience for residents."
Aligning vehicular access with the surrounding roads made a flat two-level design unfeasible. A conventional three-level approach risked reducing project viability due to increased construction costs. To resolve this, a skip-floor system was introduced, allowing for a more dynamic landscape at ground level while efficiently connecting to underground entrances. Convenient connectivity: The sunken areas of the community facilities were seamlessly linked with the nearby bus stops, enhancing both accessibility and convenience for residents.
